Systems Administrator, Windows - Tewksbury, MA; ONSITE

Position Summary

System Administrator in Information Workplace Services will collaborate with many teams to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost‑efficient environments across various classified programs.

• Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
• Follow documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Provide feedback to improve both documentation and training.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Systems are operational 24x7, occasionally requiring effort beyond standard work hours.
• Travel to other U.S. domestic locations may be required as business needs dictate (up to 10% per year).
• This position is 100% on‑site.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent industry experience.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within a reasonable amount of time.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and clients.

• Experience with Microsoft Windows administration.
• Experience with Linux operating systems administration.
• Experience with patching and security hardening.
• Experience troubleshooting computer system hardware and software issues.
• Experience supporting engineering or developers in an isolated network environment.

• Salary range: 57,200 USD – 108,800 USD.
