Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a successful background in Supply Chain and Program Management to fill a critical onsite Material Program Manager (MPM) role supporting the SPY-6 Design Agent Program. In this role you will be responsible for leading material planning and execution activities in support of qualification efforts and production break‑in. You will coordinate design agent procurement activities, manage purchase order placement and delivery performance, and ensure material availability alignment with engineering, quality and program schedules.

Working across cross‑functional teams, the Material Program Manager identifies and mitigates material risks, resolves supplier issues, and drives execution of critical qualification and production milestones. The position serves as a key liaison between supply chain, engineering, quality, and suppliers to ensure successful transition from development and qualification into production while maintaining schedule commitment and program objectives.

• Communicate and translate program requirements to critical suppliers undergoing design agent updates; conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
• Lead team, supplier/program engineering and redesign efforts.
• Ensure supplier is supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS.
• Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities and proactively manage mitigation plans.
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues.
• Act as key supplier and customer interface, including building program and supplier relationships and leading weekly and quarterly engagements.
• Proactively identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s performance.
• Facilitate necessary product and process changes through collaboration with suppliers and engineering/quality. Facilitate resolution of product non‑conformances.
• Actively participate in program/engineering reviews and change boards.
• Commit to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role.

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Supply chain experience.

• Experience using supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, etc.) and international procurement/supplier management experience.
• Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (e.g., EMD, LRIP, FRP, cost and fixed price).
• CORE or similar Six Sigma specialty.
• Experience leading in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.

$107,500 – $204,500 USD.
