Overview
Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking a Sr. Manager, Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Operations & Supply Chain group for the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit (SBU) – Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors directorate in Tewksbury, MA. This role requires advanced knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management, and proposal activities. The position is hybrid with up to 30% travel to supplier and customer sites, and requires two days onsite per week in Tewksbury or Andover locations.

What You Will Do- Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement strategies, including RFPs, risk and opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and program execution.
- Support, review, and assess requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
- Implement key performance indicators with the supply base to ensure timely delivery and adherence to the plan.
- Collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Finance to optimize planning and supply chain cycles to meet development requirements.
- Engage with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to resolve supply chain issues and serve as a supply chain subject matter expert for other areas.
- Lead projects to enhance supply chain performance and continuous improvement; support internal and external audits regarding materials and cost validations.
- Set objectives and guide others on execution approaches to achieve developmental results.
- Explain policies and procedures and influence others as needed.
- Handle complex problems requiring consideration of multiple variables and risk-based decisions.
- Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 10 years in a related field, or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
- Industry experience in Aerospace and Defense.
- Experience with supply chain, vendor management, risk assessment/mitigation, and/or performance management.
- ERP experience (e.g., SAP).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
- Prior experience as a Materials Program Manager; experience applying FAR standards to proposals.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and multi-site leadership.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering related subject.
- Project management experience is a strong plus.
- Existing Secret clearance.
