Optical Component Assembly
Key duties and responsibilities include component assembly with UV cured epoxy, processing work orders for the manufacture of optical components, adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and following ISO
9000 requirements including ESD, work area cleanliness, maintenance and calibration of equipment, and work instruction adherence. Participate in daily team stand-up meetings and improvement events such as Kaizen, 5S, and practical process improvement. Maintain a safe working environment following established 5S procedures.
Attention to detail, computer knowledge is a must, and the ability to work with small parts under a microscope using tweezers and other small tools.
Preferred SkillsPrevious experience working under the microscope is a big plus.
Desired SkillsMicroscope use. Will train the right person.
Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required, no prior experience required, detailed oriented, computer knowledge a must, and the ability to work with small parts under a microscope using tweezers and other small tools.
