Job DescriptionThe team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts is looking for a Principal Software Engineering Architect
. The candidate must be able to comprehend customer needs and translate them into viable architectural and design solutions. They must have a sound understanding of software principles and demonstrate critical thinking with strong communication skills.
- Work together with the team to deliver great products for the user with the resources available.
- Introduce modern architecture, design solutions and processes to improve the product.
- Identify, manage and mitigate technical risks.
- Help mentor and foster the team’s technical and professional development.
- Typical requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience architecting multi-security level, mission-critical software systems.
- Experience translating system requirements into scalable, implementable software architectures and guiding technical execution across teams.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
- 4+ years of design or architecting experience.
- Effective presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience architecting/designing to meet data processing performance requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills with hardware, integration & test and program leadership to ensure end-to-end system performance and delivery.
- Experience working in classified environments with strong understanding of security constraints, and data handling requirements.
