Overview
Raytheon’s Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department seeks a Senior Hardware Integration, Analysis & Test Engineer. This role sits at the intersection of radar hardware, firmware, software, and signal processing, supporting more than six active radar programs across S-, C-, X-, and UHF-Band systems.
What You Will Do- Write, use, and maintain software that controls, tests, and characterizes real radar hardware from module level to system integration.
- Analyze RF and IQ data to determine root causes of complex issues and perform verification tests across multiple radar bands and programs.
- Build data analysis tools to accelerate engineering decision‑making and prepare for future AI/ML integration.
- Collaborate directly with hardware designers, firmware developers, software engineers, and systems engineers, speaking the four technical languages.
- Execute hands‑on hardware testing, troubleshooting, and support, owning both creation and maintenance of tools.
- Operate across Raytheon sites, interfacing with program engineering, production, and systems teams.
- Typical requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years in two or more of the following: radar system integration, verification, and validation; programming in MATLAB or C/C++; microwave/RF system or circuit card design or test.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with IQ/signal processing analysis in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, radar receiver/exciter design or verification testing, and radar system troubleshooting.
- Technical background in high‑speed data converter test/characterization, radar system calibration, digital signal processing, cascade analysis, or frequency planning is preferred.
- Exposure to AI/ML models or statistical process control concepts is a plus.
- Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a small, collaborative technical team.
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD, determined by experience level and role responsibilities. Additional incentive compensation may be available for qualifying employees.
Location & TravelThis is a 100% on‑site role based in Tewksbury, MA, with significant travel to Marlborough, MA. Relocation assistance may be provided based on candidate eligibility.
Security ClearanceThis position requires a DoD Secret clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining the clearance.
