Job DescriptionThe Texarkana Arkansas School District is accepting applications for school nurse at Trice Elementary School campus for the school year.
The school nurse will assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of health services for the school, be responsible for providing direct health services to students, promote health education and preventive health practices for students, and serve as health advocate for students.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Pass a national criminal background check and a background check of the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry.
- Be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
- Possess a valid registered nurse license in Arkansas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Possess two years of nursing experience, preferably in community health.
- Possess a calm and patient demeanor with students and others.
This position is a 197-day contracted position, salary dependent upon license level and experience.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $33,200 to $54,600 Per Year
