The Mortgage Loan Officer is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Texarkana, AR. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding clients through the loan application process, and providing clear, timely communication from initial contact through closing. Day‑to‑day activities include assessing borrower eligibility, collecting and reviewing documentation, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Mortgage Loan Officer will build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals and referral partners, follow up on leads, and actively develop new business opportunities in the local market. The role requires consistent, high‑quality customer service, accurate loan structuring, and attention to detail to support a smooth and efficient lending experience.

• Candidates should possess experience as Loan Officers, with a proven track record in originating and managing residential mortgage loans.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including current regulations, products, and market trends.
• Candidates should possess skills in Mortgage Lending, including loan structuring, documentation review, and coordination with processing and closing teams.
• Candidates should possess understanding of Underwriting principles, risk assessment, and credit analysis to support sound lending decisions.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, responsiveness, and professional relationship‑building.
• Relevant additional qualifications include familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS), basic financial and credit analysis skills, and local market knowledge.
• Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a retail mortgage environment, ability to meet production goals, and existing referral relationships in the Texarkana area.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. State‑appropriate mortgage loan originator licensing and compliance with all applicable regulations are required.
