Qualifications
- Proven experience in complex IT environments focusing on desktop support, network administration, and infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency with operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), Linux, and macOS.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, and firewalls (e.g., Meraki).
- Familiarity with networking hardware like routers and switches alongside a solid understanding of LAN/WAN architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities coupled with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Competent in analyzing system logs and effectively diagnosing hardware/software issues.
- Preferred certifications including CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
- A proactive mindset towards learning new technologies and adhering to industry best practices.
- Provide advanced technical assistance for hardware, software, and network challenges across diverse platforms such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues related to software applications, operating systems, and computer hardware.
- Oversee and maintain critical IT infrastructure components including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), TCP/IP setup, and LAN/WAN networks.
- Support network administration tasks, including TCP analysis and network security configurations.
- Perform analysis of system logs and performance indicators to proactively identify potential issues for users.
- Offer support for mobile devices ensuring smooth integration with organizational systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute system upgrades and security patches efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by effectively communicating with end-users and promptly addressing their technical issues.
- Serve as the final escalation contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support matters.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
