As a Field Merchandiser
, you will work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from different companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

• Your starting hourly pay rate is $12.00-$14.00 per hour depending on skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided, delivered through live, hands-on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
• Part-time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

• This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are typically 10-12 hours per week.
• Availability around major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery, drug, department stores, and mass retailers. The field merchandiser role includes three major components:

• Day-to-day engagement: Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, record time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
• Holiday support: Seasonal demand drives operations. You may work additional days and extended hours around holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). You may be required to work on actual holidays, including weekends.
• Department Resets: May be part of a team responsible for installations and tasks such as building and relocating fixtures and resetting card sections. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments; some may include evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: You are part of a network of merchandisers that may support other team members in their territories.

This is a physically demanding role requiring energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You may kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or step ladders as part of daily duties.

• You're at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital hand-held device to access and read documents and information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
