Sketches and constructs component parts using tools normal to the trade
Troubleshooting and repair of equipment
Analyze breakdowns of plant equipment and follows a practical approach to effect repairs
Utilize the Reliability Tools and Processes to improve the plant equipment reliability.
Lead the maintenance forces in rapidly responding to unplanned interruptions or breakdown situations
Identify wastes that will reduce total costs and improve equipment reliability.
Learn and understand the function and operation of equipment in your assigned area.
Provide technical expertise to the department on equipment capabilities and functionality.
Understand precision maintenance requirements to not jeopardize Quality of product as a result of maintenance actions.
Ensure documented procedures are utilized where appropriate and followed correctly.
Ability to succeed in a metrics driven environment.
Performs other duties as required
Job Type:Full-Time
10 - 12 hr shifts
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work/relocate to Nash, TX 75569:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Operational knowledge regarding process, equipment capability, practices, systems.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
Molten metal (melting, casting) or Rolling Mill maintenance experience preferred.
Print reading including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and machining prints and schematics. Pumps, motors, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, fans, blowers, gas fired burners, and air compressors.
Troubleshooting, welding (all types), brazing, cutting, mechanic, pipe threading, fabrication, machining and hydraulic setup.
Five (5) years heavy industrial maintenance or successful completion of an approved Heavy Industry Apprentice Program. High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
Use of test gauges, micrometers, PI tapes, dial indicators, and precision levels.
Able to work flexible hours as required.
Strenuous physical activities including a lot of walking, climbing ladders and stairs, entering confined areas, heavy lifting (50 lbs. or more) and working in high areas.
