Install, repair, and maintain equipment such as cranes, pumps, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and automotive/construction equipment;
Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble;
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools;
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections; follow diagrams, sketches, manuals and specifications;
Maintain high mechanical aptitude and ability to run projects with little or no instruction
