Perform basic repairs on rail cars and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches;
Use pneumatic and hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, welders, cutting torches, forklifts, and cranes;
Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints;
Maintain safe, clean work areas and report hazards;
Be part of a TEAM environment and establish good working relationships at all levels
