Accounting Technician NF

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records/subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, collections, payments, income, liabilities, payroll, assets, and equipment.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities.
• Determine that all transactions are properly processed and that total activity agrees with predetermined control tables.
• Analyze and review reports and machine listings to ensure they are balanced, properly formatted, correctly sorted, contain valid accounting data, and adhere to regulatory manuals.
• Classify and refer erroneous conditions and complex errors to the accountant.

• Direct deposit and a valid Social Security card are required.
• Meet all qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one‑year probationary period may be required.
• Complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check.
• Obtain and maintain a T3 (Secret) Investigation clearance.
• Complete all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215‑3.
• Non‑US citizens will not qualify due to T3 (Secret) Investigation requirements.

Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, and knowledge.

• Work experience performing accounting support duties as described above.
• At least 9 semester hours of accounting credit (transcripts must be uploaded at time of application).
• At least 3 years of NAF accounting experience (must be reflected on resume).
