Position Title: Title Clerk Float

Reports To VP — Consumer Lending

Basic Function Responsible for processing titles from various states.

• Ensures our lien is perfected on titles sent to local tag offices.
• Helps Loan Officers with title work to ensure our lien is secured.
• Puts titles in order and files them in correct locations.
• Perfects liens on collateral loans that require UCC’s by recording those with the appropriate states.
• Releases the liens from the UCC’s once the loans have been paid in full.
• Books loans, writes checks from drafts, and answers phone inquiries regarding titles.
• Helps runners and members with pulling/releasing titles.
• Back up to the loan reception desk as needed.
• Mails out correspondence/titles to members.
• Helps work the daily report of paid out secured loans.
• Processes insurance letter of guarantees.
• Backup to input and deleting items on the Title Pending Report.
• Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• General office experience, working knowledge of personal computers, and knowledge of filing.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Competent computer skills and use of standard office equipment.
• Ability to handle stress of daily deadlines and to work independently.
• Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• While the following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented, identified physical requirements include the ability to operate normal office equipment and some lifting, not to exceed 25 pounds.
