We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to support fleet operations and equipment management. This individual will play a key role in ensuring assets are properly maintained, tracked, and utilized efficiently across multiple job sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily coordination of fleet assets, including fuel distribution, consumable inventory, and reordering to support field operations
- Utilize fleet tracking systems to monitor equipment location, usage, and service intervals; ensure maintenance is completed on schedule
- Support maintenance operations by sourcing parts, coordinating repairs, and managing service workflows from initiation through completion
- Maintain accurate records for fleet compliance, including registrations, inspections, and documentation for newly acquired equipment
- Partner with field teams to prioritize and assign maintenance activities in alignment with project needs and schedules
- Track equipment utilization, including attachments and rentals, ensuring cost efficiency and timely returns
- Assist in evaluating equipment performance, identifying underutilized or high-cost assets, and recommending replacements or improvements
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, manage repair services, and maintain cost control across fleet-related expenses
- Generate regular reporting on fleet activity, performance metrics, and discrepancies to support operational decision-making
- Ensure shop and yard areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner
- Support ongoing process improvements aimed at increasing reliability, efficiency, and overall fleet performance
- Conduct periodic audits of equipment condition, inspections, and compliance with company standards
- Experience supporting fleet, equipment, or operations management within construction, logistics, or similar environments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with fleet tracking systems, maintenance workflows, and vendor coordination
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and data tracking for reporting and analysis
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
