Construction Laborer in Texarkana

Job Description

Travel construction laborer for energy efficiency company. Will be working out of town for two weeks at a time. Construction experience. Must have an active drivers license and be able to pass a drug test.

• Assist with various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site
• Operate hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble structures
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
• Safely operate 15-25k lbs. box truck

• Mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively
• Previous experience working in a construction or warehouse setting is
• Ability to work in cramped, hot spaces for periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
• Valid drivers license is required
