Job Type: Faculty (9‑month appointment, possible summer courses, starts Fall 2026)

• Teach courses in Pre‑Physical Therapy, Exercise Science, and EC‑12 Physical Education.
• Teach up to 15 hours of instruction per semester, including laboratory courses, and up to two courses in summer.
• Provide student advisement as assigned.
• Participate in program development and course revisions.
• Perform appropriate levels of service within the division, college, university, and region.
• Work with the Chair and program coordinator to develop collaborative relationships with local and regional organizations.
• Serve on search committees for new program faculty.
• Promote enrollment in programs on campus and within the broader community (as time and budget allow).
• Maintain program memberships or affiliations with relevant professional associations.

• Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field in Exercise Science, Coaching and Administration, or Human Performance.
• Teaching experience at a higher‑education institution.
• Preferred:
  Experience using Canvas or other online learning platforms.
• Preferred:
  Experience teaching in the Kinesiology program and curriculum development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in national accreditation of educational programs.
• Ability to travel and work beyond normal office hours.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

This position does not supervise employees.
