Location: Texarkana ISD Nash Elementary – Nash, Texas

Position Type: Full‑time
Salary: $13.00 to $1,832.00 per hour
Primary PurposeAssist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Responsibilities- Assist the teacher with classroom activities and administrative tasks.
- Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate.
- Preferred Associate’s Degree, a minimum of 48 college hours, or pass equivalency test (necessary for Highly Qualified Status).
- Some experience working with children in an instructional setting.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Knowledge of general office equipment.
- Proficient typing, word processing, and file maintenance skills.
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Patient and calm demeanor with students and others.
- Basic academic skills.
