PRIMARY
PURPOSE:
The coordinator of Student and Family Support Services will be responsible for implementing and overseeing student discipline procedures, family support services, and community outreach initiatives for the district. Direct and manage areas of student services to include dress code, student code of conduct and handbook, truancy, and AEP placements. Work with staff members, parents, and students to address behavior concerns. Engage families and community members as essential partners in helping students achieve academic proficiency and college and career readiness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree
Master's degree from an accredited college or university
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- A thorough understanding of program management and budgeting skills
- Ability to communicate with all social and economic levels of the community
- Superior communications skill, both written and oral
- Successful experience working with business community/public agencies desirable
- Knowledge of volunteer management techniques
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Patient and calm demeanor with students and others
- Problem solving skills
Experience:
- Five or more years of experience in K-12 education
- Principal experience preferred
- Central office experience preferred
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $58,878 to $85,611 Per Year
Job Requirements- Master degree preferred.
