Description
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities- Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
The associate will regularly stand and walk during the shift, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with arms up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions and perform events, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladders, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Qualifications- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; equivalent combination acceptable. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, applications and internal systems. - Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Language:
English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
Ensure professional appearance and proper grooming; meet retailer dress code requirements provided in training documents.
