• Provides advice and assistance concerning budget and funding procedures and methods.
• Assists in the monitoring, processing, and tracking of budget requests.
• Assists in reviewing, evaluating, and preparing requests for funds.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual operating budget.
• Conducts training sessions for budget-related processes.
• Might serve as a liaison with financial, payroll, and human resources departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and decision‑making skills.
• Accurate keyboarding ability.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to occasionally work beyond normal office hours.
• Knowledge of the Financial Accounting Management Information System (FAMIS) (preferred).
• Experience with Workday (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (preferred).

This position generally does not supervise employees, and all positions are security‑sensitive, subject to a criminal history check and verification of credentials.
