• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Offer kind words, warm smiles, and a listening ear
• Keep things running smoothly with documentation and teamwork
• Participate in fun events and activities (eggroll making, bean bag baseball, etc.)

• Current CNA certification (Texas)
• A heart for service and a team spirit
• Passion for elder care and building meaningful connections

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of Certified Nursing Aide program required
• Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or ability to obtain prior to start of work
• One year of experience, preferably as a hospital or long‑term‑care nursing assistant
• Knowledge and ability to learn computer skills
• Working knowledge of basic patient care procedures
• Models MRC ICARE values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence
• Service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems, and takes initiative to improve
• Friendly and courteous to residents, families, and coworkers
• Demonstrates sincere compassion
• Comfortable dealing with the aged and chronically ill
