American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital oncology department requiring TX MRT/RRT licensure and ARRT-RT certification.

• Hospital-based Oncology Radiation Therapy department
• Outpatient and occasional inpatient patient population
• 15-20 patients per machine with 2-3 simulations per day
• Uses True Beam/Varian equipment, ARIA, and Vision RT systems
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Associate Degree required
• TX MRT license required (license required if applicable)
• TX RRT license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RADTH) required
• Minimum of 1 year experience required

• Performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving X-rays and radioactive substances as prescribed by physicians
• Operates specialized radiation therapy equipment and maintains treatment records
• Provides quality patient care tailored to diagnosis, treatment plan, and patient age group
• Maintains, stores, and orders supplies and equipment as needed
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for local candidate consideration
• Previous CHRISTUS Health System employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
