Quality Support Specialist

Position Overview

The Quality Support Specialist supports the Quality Director in overseeing and advancing quality assurance and improvement initiatives across assigned Genesis Prime Care clinics. This position assists with quality programs and projects, including grants, UDS, HEDIS measures, PCMH, and insurance contract compliance, while coordinating quality meetings, reports, audits, and educational activities. The Quality Support Specialist works collaboratively with providers, managers, clinical teams, and other health center personnel to identify and address care gaps, support accurate clinical documentation, provide EMR assistance, and promote compliance with quality standards and organizational policies.

This role serves as a resource for quality-related questions, assists with continuous improvement efforts, and provides coverage and support to other departments or locations as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Professionals Certification

Preferred:

• One (1) year of practice experience in quality or clinical certification or license (CMA or LVN)
• Insurance compliance experience
• Spanish speaking and writing skills
