Job DescriptionNon‑CDL position.
The Auto Parts Delivery Driver will primarily determine the priority of deliveries, receive and review delivery orders for completeness, and maintain a clean driving record while adhering to company policy.
Deliveries will primarily focus on automotive replacement parts and may include heavy‑duty parts, automotive and industrial paint, and body shop supplies and equipment from our Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, including assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle.
- Determine the priority of deliveries, including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a manager.
- Receive and process orders and other documents by reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery.
- Maintain a clean and well‑running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections.
- Be able to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Help answer telephone and wait on customers.
- Work store inventory/assist in other location’s inventory if assigned.
- Maintain a clean facility inside and outside, including sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, straightening and dusting shelves, rearranging stock, etc.
- Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED. Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages; and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
