The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes within the aluminum mill. This role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and maintaining high product quality. Success in this position is achieved through data‑driven analysis, technical problem‑solving, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Safety and environmental compliance are integral to all process improvements.
Responsibilities and Duties- Evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, throughput, and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment, materials, and process controls.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends and root causes of variation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar methodologies.
- Work with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
- Partner with quality teams to maintain product specifications and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all process improvements comply with OSHA safety and environmental regulations.
- Deliver training and technical support to production teams on new processes and equipment.
- Lead or support capital projects, including new equipment installations and process upgrades.

Ability to commute/relocate:
Nash, TX 75569
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering
- 2–5+ years’ experience in manufacturing or metal processing environment (aluminum industry experience preferred).
- Knowledge of aluminum mill processes such as extrusion, casting, or rolling.
- Experience with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) and data analysis methods.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate across departments.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exposure to high temperatures, heavy machinery, and fast‑paced operations.
Adherence to strict safety protocols and required use of PPE at all times.
