This is done through leading by example, ensuring employees are properly trained, holding themselves and others accountable, meeting established metrics, and maximizing efficiency throughout the manufacturing facility.##

** Responsibilities and Duties
* ** Lead the charge for ensuring all employees, customers, and visitors understand the importance of 100% safety compliance.
* Coach employees to ensure they understand job responsibilities and how they affect internal and external customers upstream and downstream.
* Monitor safety, quality, and production data for trends and opportunities for problem-solving and waste elimination.
* Lead continuous improvement activities in the assigned department to ensure the company is at maximum production capabilities.
* Provide feedback to the team concerning safety
* Conduct safety observations
* Coach employees to ensure they understand job responsibilities and how they impact internal and external customers
* Ensure employees are trained to safely perform job duties in a manner that meets or exceeds quality and production requirements

** Qualifications and Education Requirements
*** Operational knowledge regarding process, equipment capability, practices, systems.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
* Able to work flexible/rotating hours as production needs are required
* Associates Degree with 2 years of manufacturing experience or 5 years manufacturing experience required, preferably in aluminum manufacturing.
* Two years experience in a supervisory and/or leadership role required.#
** Preferred Skills
*** Strong mechanical and process aptitude preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly with Excel and other computer related programs
