Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a CNA, you will work an 8‑hour shift, providing residents with personal care, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team recognized for its achievements.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required to maintain a hazard‑free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with CNA duties.
• Highly developed observation skills.
