• Make assessments of Elders, obtaining vitals, listening to their lungs, checking for any changes in conditions or elements. Fill medication boxes. Communicate with doctor offices/pharmacy for new orders or refills.
• Perform basic daily nursing functions.

Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.

• Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative.

Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.

Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
