CNA (2p-10p Shift)

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center, located in Texarkana, TX, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team.

As a CNA at our facility, you will work an 8‑hour shift providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team that supports superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
