Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center
, Texarkana, TX – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position. The role includes an $2500 sign‑on bonus and multiple 8‑hour shifts.
The CNA provides personal‑care to residents, assists the charge nurse, and contributes to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high‑quality care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance a rewarding career in long‑term and rehabilitative care.
Job Responsibilities- Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
- Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
- Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
- Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
- Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
- Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
- Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- State certification as a nursing assistant.
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
