$14.00 to $17.50 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

Position

Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team. This role is open with a base hourly wage plus commission and potential bonuses. Pay structure:
Up to 8% commission on transactions (could average an additional amount on top of hourly rate).

Position Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management experience. Responsibilities include day-to-day store operations, leading and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations/satisfaction. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead the team, analyze store financials, and promote a customer-centric environment. The position may involve handling jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms in FFL locations.

Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a customer-centric environment; engage customers professionally and address issues promptly.
  • Assist in training staff to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through approved channels.
  • Open/close the store; manage cash drawers and merchandise; protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safety procedures; manage loans.
  • Administer store processes including inventory, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial statements; drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
  • Maintain operating standards to meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
  • Complete assigned tasks and self-development training.
  • Communicate clearly with employees about the store’s mission and objectives.
  • Maintain product knowledge; act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods; standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting as required by law.
  • Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
  • Assist customers in exterior areas; retrieve products stored in exterior locations as needed.
  • Minimum Age: 18 years old;
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • 40+ hours per week; hours vary with business needs.
  • Computer-literate; able to operate POS systems and office equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills; cash handling experience; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
