Ellis Home & Garden on Richmond Rd. in Texarkana, TX is now accepting applications a for PT Greenhouse Associate position. This position will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Ellis Home & Garden is a family‑owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family‑oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment.
Responsibilities and DutiesThis position will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred; other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.
Qualifications and Skills- High School Diploma or GED required
- Some college preferred
- Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
- Computer proficiency required
- Retail point of sale experience preferred
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Experience working in a Greenhouse/Garden Center setting
- Must be available Nights & Weekends
- Must be 18 years of age
Pay starting $12.00 per hour; dependent upon experience
