Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and maintain construction equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance on project sites
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues and coordinate repairs with vendors or maintenance teams
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance, checks, and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements
• Support equipment planning, scheduling, and mobilization for mission-critical government and commercial projects
• Maintain accurate equipment records, logs, and inventories to support compliance and asset management
• Collaborate with site supervisors and safety staff to ensure equipment is operated in line with safety and environmental standards
• Assist with equipment training, orientation, and best practices for operators and project teams
• Recommend equipment improvements, replacements, and parts procurement to optimize uptime and cost-effectiveness
