Heavy Equipment Operator

• Perform daily machine inspections, including checking fluids, wear parts, tires, glass, and general machinery condition
• Immediately report equipment issues and required maintenance
• Safely and productively operate assigned heavy equipment
• Adapt operations to changing traffic, soil, and weather conditions
• Utilize GPS systems
• Read and understand grade stakes and hubs for grade control and finishing
• Manage materials efficiently during excavation, loading, placement, grading, and utility installation
• Labor and assist the crew as needed
• Travel continuously to project sites and remain assigned to locations for extended periods before transitioning to other projects

• Must be willing to labor and help the crew
• 3 years’ experience operating heavy earthmoving equipment (motor grader, scraper, dozer, excavator)
• 1 year of industry specific related equipment operation experience
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, clients, contractors, and vendors etc.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test required prior to start date
• Willingness to travel continuously to project sites across the central United States
• Flexibility and willingness to work wherever projects are located

Demonstrates expertise in operating heavy earthmoving equipment, including motor graders, scrapers, dozers, and excavators, while ensuring safety and efficiency in various project conditions. Proficient in GPS systems and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
