Airgas is Hiring for a Microbulk Driver in Texarkana, TX. Recruiter:

Airgas is currently recruiting for CDL B Microbulk Driver with X endorsements to support our National Carbonation Division. This position is responsible for delivering CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes while monitoring each unit to assure that it is operating properly and efficiently.

• Transfer product from Airgas truck to customer tank through hose hookup.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
• Loading Microbulk tanks, filling customer owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
• Assist field service technicians with CO2 tank installations & repair work as required.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR and Airgas vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed.
• Assure the route truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.

• Required Qualifications:
• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions or two (2) at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months

• Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of CDL experience in the last 5 years
