TRAX Operator Responsibilities
Drive and operate TRAX vehicles, provide safe and timely transportation services to individuals, including persons with disabilities, and maintain vehicles as needed.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license. CDL preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle operations; must pass a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved drug test and criminal records check.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in vehicle operation; verbal and people skills; ability to think through situations, deal with problems constructively, handle stress; self‑motivated with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to see, hear, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Additional related education and experience in the areas listed above will be considered.
