Service Porter

Cook Ford is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Service Porter to join our Service Department. The Service Porter plays an important role in keeping the service drive organized, moving customer vehicles safely and efficiently, and helping provide a clean, professional experience for every customer.

• Assist Service Department personnel in a friendly and professional manner.
• Move customer vehicles to and from service bays, parking areas, and designated locations.
• Retrieve and deliver customer vehicles as needed.
• Maintain an organized and efficient service drive and parking areas.
• Perform vehicle pick-up and delivery duties when needed.
• Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with general department needs.
• Check vehicles for personal belongings before and after service when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Service Department, customer waiting areas, and surrounding areas.
• Assist with moving and organizing vehicles throughout the dealership lot.
• Safely operate dealership vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure customer vehicles are handled with care and respect at all times.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and other dealership errands as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Management.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items as required.
• Previous automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
