Lead Instructors- TCFP Fire Instructor II
- TCFP Firefighter Intermediate
- TCFP Field Examiner to perform TCFP skills testing
- Applicable TCFP certification required to instruction TCFP courses for certifications
- TCFP Fire Instructor I
- TCFP Firefighter Basic
- TCFP Field Examiner to perform TCFP skills testing
- SFFMA related fire service training and experience
- Applicable SFFMA certification required to instructor SFFMA courses
- Principles and practices of teaching
- Fire service related knowledge and experience
- Detailed knowledge of material being taught in the specific course, including the certification required to instruct TCFP course for certification
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with students, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
- Basic computer literacy sufficient to perform job duties

Physical RequirementsPositions in this class typically require moderate to heavy physical activity. Classroom instruction utilizing instructional materials and equipment, outdoor physical instruction, utilizing fire service tools and equipment while wearing personal protective clothing with self-contained breathing apparatus.
