- Bachelor’s degree plus a combination of 1-year teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, plus a combination of 1-year teaching experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with students, staff, and faculty
- Knowledge of computers and current technology
- Display a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and its application in general and technical education
- Ensure all activities conform to state and local guidelines for general higher education courses
- Facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students
- Verify and maintain records of student attendance, performance and inform students regularly of their performance in the course
- Teach information, skills, and attitudes that support the learning objectives identified for each course
- Develop and maintain an environment conducive to high student learning
- Participate in assessment of student learning for the general education program
- Support the vision, mission, and policies of the College
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical RequirementsGenerally, involves 80% sitting, 10% walking and 10% standing, however some days may require much more walking and standing
