Salesforce Business Analyst (W2) – 5+ Years Experience

We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst with strong CPQ experience to partner with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, and optimize end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash processes. This role focuses on process analysis, requirements gathering, CPQ configuration guidance, and delivering enhancements that improve sales efficiency and operational accuracy. Salesforce client bridges business needs and Salesforce solutions, evaluating processes, translating requirements, and managing enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis & Requirements:
Evaluate business processes, uncover areas for improvement, and recommend Salesforce/CPQ solutions. - Gather, document, and prioritize CPQ‑related requirements including pricing, product rules, discounting, and quoting workflows.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Design scalable CPQ configurations such as product bundles, price rules, discount structures, and approval workflows.
- Support quote‑to‑order workflows and ensure alignment with enterprise processes.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Admins and Developers to implement and validate CPQ changes.
- Work closely with sales, pricing, finance, operations, and IT to ensure business value and process alignment.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, training, and stakeholder reviews.
- Lead or support UAT cycles, defect triage, and release readiness for CPQ‑related enhancements.
- Maintain detailed documentation including process flows, functional specs, and testing requirements.
- 5+ years as a Salesforce Business Analyst or a similar role, with direct experience supporting Salesforce projects.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), including pricing rules, product configuration, discounting, and quote generation.
- Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting system testing (UAT) and validating delivered solutions.
- Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
- Experience with CLM, Order Management, or advanced pricing models.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled sales tools, quoting automation, or pricing optimization (nice to have).
- Experience in enterprise‑scale environments and cross‑functional project delivery.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate pricing, efficient quoting, and streamlined sales processes. Your CPQ expertise will directly support revenue operations, reduce complexity, and help the business scale.
