Job SummaryThis position supports the design, integration, and administration of cloud-based solutions connecting the College’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with internal and third‑party applications. Leveraging technical expertise and an understanding of business needs, the role develops and maintains reliable, secure, and scalable integrations that support institutional operations. Responsibilities include technical configuration, vendor coordination, quality assurance and testing, troubleshooting, operational support, and cloud architecture design.
PrimaryDuties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the technical lead in the design and development of software/data integration solutions.
- Provides oversight of the integration software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Works with project teams in the definition of requirements for integration strategies into enterprise architecture.
- Prepares needed documentation and presents in required project, design, or architecture review meetings.
- Communicates project status to all levels of management.
- Leads internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team members.
- Ensures the technology standards for version control are applied.
- Ensures all required documents are delivered, documentation updated, and tests are completed.
- Assists with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Monitors emerging technologies and seeks opportunities for growth and long‑term success of integrations.
- Leads the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integration solutions that connect the College’s ERP system with internal and third‑party applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange.
- Provides technical leadership and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology staff to define integration requirements, evaluate solution options, and align integration strategies with enterprise architecture standards and institutional objectives.
- Develops and maintains technical architecture, design, and operational documentation; presents recommendations and solution designs during project, architecture, and governance review processes.
- Leads and coordinates the work of internal staff, vendors, consultants, and other external resources to ensure successful delivery of integration initiatives and operational support activities.
- Establishes and enforces integration development standards, including source code management, version control, quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and change management practices.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves complex integration issues; conducts root cause analysis and supports incident response efforts to maintain system availability, performance, and data integrity.
- Researches emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and the long‑term sustainability of the College’s integration and cloud architecture environment.
- Oversees daily work activities, provides training and guidance, monitors performance, and ensures work is completed accurately and efficiently.
