Job Summary

This role is responsible for administering and supporting secure, accurate, and compliant access to the College's enterprise systems and related applications. The position supports identity and access management operations by maintaining enterprise access controls and partnering with functional, technical, and security teams to ensure access is appropriately managed in accordance with institutional policies, security standards, audit requirements, and data governance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements
  • Administers and maintains enterprise application roles, access profiles, role-based access control structures, security objects, and user permissions in accordance with approved business processes and institutional security standards
  • Reviews, validates, and fulfills requests for enterprise application access, including provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning activities, ensuring requests are properly authorized, documented, and aligned with approved business processes and least-privilege principles
  • Investigates and resolves access issues, security errors, role conflicts, and user access discrepancies in coordination with functional and technical teams
  • Supports integration of enterprise application access processes with identity lifecycle tools, Microsoft Entra , single sign-on (SSO), multifactor authentication (MFA), and other identity and access management (IAM) platforms
  • Assists functional offices, Enterprise Applications, Information Security, Compliance, and Data Governance teams by documenting, validating, and periodically reviewing access requirements and related security processes
  • Supports periodic access reviews, role recertifications, and security audits by collecting, validating, and documenting access information and assisting with remediation activities
  • Documents access procedures, role definitions, approval workflows, exception processes, and audit evidence to support operational consistency, compliance readiness, and audit requirements
  • Monitors security metrics, access review findings, service requests, and audit remediation activities; identifies opportunities for process improvements and recommends enhancements to access request workflows, manual provisioning activities, access controls, and service delivery processes
Service Excellence
  • Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the work site
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision

Works under the supervision of the assigned department leader

Required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • At least one (1) year of experience supporting access, roles, security, or user administration in an enterprise ERP or comparable higher education administrative systems environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one (1) years working experience administering or supporting enterprise application security, administrative application security, or role-based access models
  • At least one (1) years working experience with functional security for Student, Finance, Human Resources, Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable, or related administrative modules
  • At least one (1) years working experience with IAM platforms, Microsoft Entra , single sign-on, multifactor authentication, and automated provisioning/deprovisioning processes
  • At least one (1) years working experience conducting access reviews, security recertifications, audit support, segregation of duties analysis, or compliance documentation
