Porter, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

Employee is responsible for the overall upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image. Duties include cleaning of the driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior/interior hallways, or any other public areas; maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas; snow removal; and pool cleaning or routing pool maintenance.

Community Manager / Assistant Community Manager / Maintenance Supervisor

• Maintains grounds of property
• Cleans grounds and removes pet litter
• Shovels snow from walks and driveways, if applicable
• Spreads salt on public passage ways to prevent ice buildup, if applicable
• Waters lawn and shrubs, if necessary
• May repair fences, gates, walls, and walks, using carpentry and masonry tools
• May paint fences and outbuildings
• May clean out drainage ditches and culverts, using shovel and rake
• Perform ground maintenance duties such as cleaning buildings, touch up paint when needed in corridors, clean corridor tile floors, power wash, maintain trash room and trash chutes, and pick up trash and pet waste around property daily
• Inspect pool gates daily to ensure they are operational; if not in compliance, they must be chained shut and reported to the property manager and maintenance supervisor for necessary repairs
• Inspect entry access locations daily to ensure operational; if not in compliance, it must be reported to the property manager and maintenance supervisor for necessary repairs
• Must maintain pool, pool furniture and BBQ grills
• May make minor repairs on equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in field or related area
• Knowledge of the field’s commonly used concepts, practices and procedures
• Availability to work evenings and weekends according to business needs of the company
• Lift and carry up to 25lbs
