Job Summary:

The Shoal, a premier post-acute and skilled nursing facility in Texas City, Texas, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents. • Assist the Director of Nursing in the overall planning, organization, and direction of the nursing department
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and protocols
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive care and services to our residents
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners
• Analyze and report on nursing department metrics, including quality measures, staffing ratios, and patient outcomes

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (n/a)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
