Description:

About The Role

Holcim US, a major construction materials producer, is recruiting a full-time Loader Operator for a new project in Texas City, TX. New hires will train in Port Arthur for a few weeks before the project starts, which will last 18 months.

The role involves performing maintenance, operating equipment, and maintaining grounds and facilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating rubber-tired tractor-type vehicles with a front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket to lift and transport bulk materials onto trucks.
  • Starting engines, shifting gears, and operating levers to load and dump materials.
  • Performing routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintaining communication with supervisors and customers.
  • Following safety policies and promoting a safety culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 2 years of related work experience.
    • Strong mechanical skills and ability to use tools.
    • Knowledge of company procedures.
    • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE, including respirators.
