Responsibilities & Qualifications

• java tech architect
• 10+ years' experience in design and development of Java/J2EE applications
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Java technologies (J2EE / Java EE)
• Over 8 years of application development experience
• Strong technical skills in Java, J2EE, EJB, Web Services, JSP, JDBC, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Must have object-oriented programming expertise and sound understanding of design patterns
• Knowledge of AWS services is required preferably hands‑on
• Familiarity with building and consuming web services
• Familiar with SOAP and REST API protocols, as well as HTTP transport concepts
• Practical knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL queries (DB2 and Oracle preferred)
• Experience with database Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions
• Experience with Web Logic and Web Sphere platforms
• Experience with Linux OS desirable
• Experience with assessment and refactoring of Web Logic/Web Sphere applications for cloud readiness on AWS
• Desirable - Web Logic to Wildfly-JBOSS Migration experience, Web Sphere to Wildfly-JBOSS Migration experience
• Desirable experience with Wildfly-JBOSS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of telecommunications industry helpful
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to work either independently or as part of a larger team, depending on project assignments
