Java Tech Architect

10+ years' experience in design and development of Java/J2EE applications. Working knowledge of Enterprise Java technologies (J2EE / Java EE). Over 8 years of application development experience. Strong technical skills in Java, J2EE, EJB, Web Services, JSP, JDBC, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Must have object-oriented programming expertise and have sound understanding of design patterns. Knowledge of AWS services is required preferable hands-on.

Familiarity with building and consuming web services. Familiar with SOAP and REST API protocols, as well as HTTP transport concepts. Practical knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL queries (DB2 and Oracle preferred).

Experience with database Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions.

Experience with Web Logic and Web Sphere platforms.

Experience with Linux OS desirable.

Experience with assessment and refactoring of Web Logic/Web Sphere applications for cloud readiness on AWS. Desirable - Weblogic to Wildfly
-JBOSS Migration experience, Websphere to Wildfly-JBOSS Migration experience. Desirable experience with Wildfly - JBOSS. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
