Turner Company is a strong, rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturing company in the construction/infrastructure industry and we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates with a strong sense of urgency, and takes ownership of deadlines and results. The Senior Accountant will partner closely with leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, intercompany accounting, debt tracking, fixed asset management, and margin analysis across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations
- Maintain and monitor fixed asset and debt schedules and prepare related reporting
- Perform margin and profitability analysis across product lines and entities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support cost accounting and inventory processes (manufacturing environment)
- Help maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and financial partners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Manufacturing or construction industry experience
- Cost accounting and inventory experience
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Strong sense of urgency
